Pipedrive pricing: what it really costs

Quick answer

As of 26 September 2026, Pipedrive's cheapest plan, Lite, costs $24 a seat a month, or $14 a seat if billed annually. That price does not include email marketing: Pipedrive's own Campaigns add-on is a separate paid extra on every plan, even the top-tier Ultimate, so a solo rep sending a few thousand emails a month pays closer to $40, and a 3-person sales team running normal volume pays about $189. Pipedrive suits an agency, a local-service business or an early-stage SaaS company that wants a dedicated sales pipeline; a team that also wants built-in bulk email or texting should budget for add-ons or look elsewhere.

  • Campaigns add-on (Standard tier), 1,000 subscribers, billed monthly (1,000 x $0.016)$16

Plan: Lite · billed monthly.

How we worked this out

Standard cinchstack solo sizing: 1 user, 1,000 contacts, 2,000 marketing emails/month, 200 SMS/month. Lite's cap of 2,500 leads+deals per seat comfortably covers 1,000 contacts, and Lite is Pipedrive's cheapest plan, sized for exactly this kind of single-rep setup. Lite has no built-in email sync or bulk email, so to send the 2,000 marketing emails/month, Pipedrive's own answer is the Campaigns add-on, priced by subscriber count and available on every plan including Lite. At exactly 1,000 subscribers this falls entirely within Campaigns' first pricing band ($0.016/subscriber/month paid monthly), so cost = 1,000 x $0.016 = $16.00/month; this figure is unambiguous because 1,000 is exactly the top of that band under either a graduated or a single-rate reading of Pipedrive's tiers. Pipedrive has no native SMS-sending product, so the 200 SMS/month cannot be priced and are not included (see unverified). Billed annually this would be $14 (Lite) + $13.33 (Campaigns: 1,000 x $0.16/year, /12) = $27.33/month; both figures are shown directly on Pipedrive's pricing page.

Small team

$189 / month

medium confidence
  • Growth plan, 3 seats, billed monthly (3 x $49)$147
  • Campaigns add-on (Standard tier), 5,000 subscribers, billed monthly (graduated bands)$42

Plan: Growth · billed monthly.

How we worked this out

Standard cinchstack small sizing: 3 users, 5,000 contacts, 20,000 marketing emails/month, 1,000 SMS/month. A 3-person team doing real follow-up automation needs Growth: Lite has zero email sync and zero automations of any kind in Pipedrive's own plan-comparison data. Growth's 5,000-leads-and-deals-per-seat cap x 3 seats = 15,000, comfortably covering 5,000 contacts. For the 20,000 marketing emails/month, Campaigns is priced by subscriber count held, not by sends, so the relevant figure is the cost to hold 5,000 marketing subscribers. Pipedrive publishes graduated per-subscriber rates (1-1,000 at $0.016; 1,001-2,000 at $0.008; 2,001-25,000 at $0.006, all paid monthly) and says 'the more contacts you add, the less you pay per subscriber' - consistent with a graduated, banded calculation. Applying each band to 5,000 subscribers: 1,000 x $0.016 + 1,000 x $0.008 + 3,000 x $0.006 = $16.00 + $8.00 + $18.00 = $42.00/month. (If Pipedrive instead charges every subscriber at the single rate of the top band reached, the cost would be 5,000 x $0.006 = $30.00/month instead; nothing captured rules this alternate reading out, hence 'medium' confidence.) Billed annually: 3 x $39 (Growth) + graduated Campaigns at annual rates ((1,000x$0.16 + 1,000x$0.08 + 3,000x$0.06)/12 = $35.00) = $117 + $35.00 = $152.00/month. The 1,000 SMS/month have no Pipedrive equivalent (no native SMS product) and are not included; see unverified.

Growing team

8-person sales team, Premium plan, 25,000 contacts, email marketing

$794 / month

medium confidence
  • Premium plan, 8 seats, billed monthly (8 x $79)$632
  • Campaigns add-on (Standard tier), 25,000 subscribers, billed monthly (graduated bands)$162

Plan: Premium · billed monthly.

How we worked this out

Standard cinchstack growing sizing: 8 users, 25,000 contacts, 100,000 marketing emails/month, 5,000 SMS/month. An 8-person team outgrows Growth's caps (50 automations and just 5 nurture sequences company-wide, 1 email sync per seat); Pipedrive's own upsell path is Premium, which raises those to 150 automations, 25 sequences and 3 email syncs per seat, and adds LeadBooster, lead scoring/enrichment and Smart Docs at no extra cost. Premium's 15,000-leads-and-deals-per-seat cap x 8 seats = 120,000, comfortably covering 25,000 contacts. For the 100,000 marketing emails/month, pricing again follows Campaigns' subscriber count (25,000 marketing subscribers), using the same graduated per-subscriber bands as the small scenario: 1,000 x $0.016 + 1,000 x $0.008 + 23,000 x $0.006 = $16.00 + $8.00 + $138.00 = $162.00/month (paid monthly). As with the small scenario, this assumes Pipedrive's tiers are graduated rather than a single blended rate; a single-rate reading would instead give 25,000 x $0.006 = $150.00/month, so confidence is 'medium'. Billed annually: 8 x $59 (Premium) + graduated Campaigns at annual rates ((1,000x$0.16 + 1,000x$0.08 + 23,000x$0.06)/12 = $135.00) = $472 + $135.00 = $607.00/month. The 5,000 SMS/month have no Pipedrive equivalent (no native SMS product) and are not included; see unverified. LeadBooster and Smart Docs are included free at this tier, so no separate add-on line was added for them.

Which Pipedrive plan does a growing sales team need?

Pipedrive sells four plans, and which one a business needs comes down to two things: whether it wants automation and a synced inbox, and whether it wants lead capture, project tracking and e-signatures bundled in rather than bought separately. $24 a seat a month buys Lite, the cheapest plan and the one built for a single rep who just wants to log calls and move deals through a pipeline by hand: it has no connected email inbox and no automation of any kind, not even one automated step. The first real step up is $49 a seat a month for Growth, which adds a synced mailbox per seat, up to 50 shared automations and 5 Pulse nurture sequences — the minimum plan for a team that wants Pipedrive to follow up on its own. $79 a seat a month buys Premium, the first tier where LeadBooster’s chat and web-form lead capture, the Projects add-on and Smart Docs e-signatures are all included at no extra cost, along with basic data enrichment for company records. $99 a seat a month is Ultimate, worth it mainly for the 500 monthly enrichment credits that cover people as well as companies, a sandbox test account and extended phone support hours; a team that doesn’t specifically need those three is paying for headroom it won’t use. Every plan bills strictly per seat, whether or not the person assigned to that seat is active, so the real lever on cost is headcount, not any usage cap.

What actually pushes a Pipedrive bill above the seat price?

The seat price never includes email marketing. Campaigns, Pipedrive’s own bulk-email tool, is a separate add-on on every plan, Ultimate included, and it’s billed by how many marketing subscribers you hold, not how many emails you send: the Standard tier starts at $0.016 per subscriber a month and steps down as the list grows. That single add-on is why the bills above run higher than the seat price alone — a solo rep on Lite pays $40 a month once Campaigns is added. LeadBooster (chatbot, live chat, web forms and 10 monthly Prospector lead-reveal credits) costs $39 a company a month, the Projects add-on costs $20 a seat a month and Smart Docs starts at $39 a month — but only on Lite and Growth; all three come free with every seat on Premium and Ultimate, which is the real reason those two plans cost more up front but can end up cheaper once a team needs more than one of them. Web Visitors, which identifies the companies browsing your site anonymously, starts at $49 a month for up to 200 identified organizations and steps up to $99 and then $299 a month as traffic grows, and it’s sold as a separate add-on on every plan too, including Ultimate. Two smaller usage charges round things out: extra Prospector lead-reveal credits, once you’ve used the 10 that come with LeadBooster, start at $1 per credit, and extra data-enrichment credits, available only on Premium and Ultimate, start at $0.10 per credit.

Is paying Pipedrive annually worth the commitment?

Every plan costs less per seat when billed annually, but not by the same amount. Lite drops from $24 to $14 a month, a cut of about 42%, the steepest of the four. Growth and Ultimate both drop by about 20%, and Premium by about 25%. Pipedrive’s own pricing page rounds this up to “discounted up to 42%,” a figure that’s accurate only for Lite. The catch that headline doesn’t mention: annual subscriptions are prepaid for the full year and are not refundable. Cancelling one doesn’t return any money already paid; it keeps your access running until the paid term ends, then simply stops renewing. A monthly plan, by contrast, can be cancelled at any time and stops billing at the next date. Annual billing is worth it once you’re confident in the plan you’ve chosen; before that, the flexibility of monthly billing is worth more than the discount you’d be giving up.

What does Pipedrive’s pricing page not spell out?

A few things take digging to find. Smart Docs’ price bands are labeled only by an internal “units 1-30” and “units 31-100” range that no page defines; it’s most likely a monthly signature-request count, since the add-on’s own free trial is metered in 5 signature requests, but Pipedrive never states that plainly. Web Visitors works in reverse: its price is public up to 2,000 identified organizations a month, but above that Pipedrive assigns a custom tier only after running a 7-day trial of your actual site traffic, so you can’t know the real monthly cost until after you’ve already committed to the trial. Seats bill strictly by headcount: adding a new user with no free seat available automatically adds, and bills, another one, so an over-provisioned account can quietly grow its own bill. And Pipedrive’s back-end pricing data lists paid Nova AI SKUs priced per seat, even though every public page about Nova says plainly that it’s included free on every plan; Pipedrive doesn’t explain the discrepancy anywhere, so there’s no current reason to expect a Nova charge, but it isn’t a fully settled question either. Accounts still on Pipedrive’s pre-2025 plan names — Essential, Advanced, Professional or Enterprise — may also be paying different prices than the Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate rates quoted on the current page.

How does Pipedrive’s real cost compare with Zoho CRM, HubSpot and GoHighLevel?

Zoho CRM is the closest comparison: it’s also a per-seat sales CRM, and its Standard plan costs $20 a month per user, undercutting even Pipedrive’s cheapest plan, and it folds a limited amount of bulk email into that price instead of selling it as a separate add-on. HubSpot takes a different approach: its Marketing Hub is free for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts, a real option Pipedrive doesn’t offer at any size, since Pipedrive has no free tier at all, only a 14-day trial. HubSpot’s paid Starter plan, at $20 a seat a month with no long-term commitment, would otherwise suit a team the size of Pipedrive’s small-team scenario — but HubSpot sells marketing SMS only as an add-on to Professional, which requires a 12-month commitment and a one-time $3,000 onboarding fee. A small team that also wants that SMS add-on sees its real HubSpot bill run to $1,100 a month, far above Pipedrive’s $189 for the same size team, even though Pipedrive has no SMS product to sell that team at any price. GoHighLevel bundles a CRM, funnels and a phone system into one flat plan starting at $97 a month, and it can bill texts and calls by usage on top of that — something Pipedrive simply cannot do at any price, because Pipedrive has no SMS product at all.

Who should skip Pipedrive, and what should they use instead?

Skip Pipedrive if bulk email or SMS needs to be included in one subscription: Campaigns is always a separate bill here, and there’s no SMS product to buy at any price, so a business built around texting leads should look at GoHighLevel instead, where messaging is at least metered rather than absent. Skip Lite specifically, even though it’s the cheapest plan, if the team wants Pipedrive to send follow-up emails or run automations on its own; Lite has neither, and Growth is the real floor for that. Hold off on buying Web Visitors until you’ve run its 7-day traffic trial, since committing based on the published entry price alone means finding out your real tier and bill only after the fact. And for a business that mainly wants the plainest possible per-seat CRM price, with a little bulk email folded into the base plan instead of billed separately, Zoho CRM is worth checking before committing to Pipedrive.

Add-onPriceChargedNotes
LeadBooster (chatbot, live chat, web forms, 10 Prospector credits/month)$39per company per month, billed monthly (flat fee, not per seat)Plans: Lite, Growth. $32.50/month if billed annually ($390/year). Included at no extra cost on Premium and Ultimate. Comes with 10 Prospector lead-reveal credits per month at no extra cost.
Projects add-on (project management, per seat)$20per seat per month, billed monthly (Lite and Growth only; included for every seat on Premium and Ultimate)Plans: Lite, Growth. $16/seat/month if billed annually ($192/seat/year) - the figure Pipedrive's pricing page currently displays as the Projects add-on's starting price. Pipedrive's own embedded pricing data also lists older per-seat rates ($8, $10 and $15/month) under earlier package versions of this same add-on; the live page and its newest package version agree on $20 monthly / $16 annual-equivalent, which is what is recorded here.
Smart Docs add-on (proposals, quotes, contracts with eSignatures)$39per month, lower usage band (Lite and Growth only; included for every seat on Premium and Ultimate)Plans: Lite, Growth. Steps up to $59/month above the lower band. Pipedrive's own pricing data labels the two bands only as 'units 1-30' and 'units 31-100' without saying what is being counted; Smart Docs' free trial is metered in 'five signature requests', so this is most likely a monthly signature-request band, but that is inference rather than a stated fact (see unverified). $32.50/month if billed annually for the lower band ($390/year); $49.17/month if billed annually for the higher band ($590/year).
Campaigns add-on, Standard tier (email marketing, priced by subscriber count)$0.016per marketing subscriber per month, for the first 1,000 subscribers, billed monthly (Standard tier; graduated rate drops to $0.008/subscriber for the next 1,000; $0.006/subscriber from 2,001-25,000; $0.005/subscriber from 25,001-40,000; $0.003/subscriber above 40,000)Plans: Lite, Growth, Premium, Ultimate. For 1,000 subscribers this is $16.00/month (1,000 x $0.016). Available as a paid add-on on every plan, including Premium and Ultimate. If billed annually the rate is $0.16/subscriber/year, i.e. $13.33/month-equivalent for 1,000 subscribers ($160/year) - the figure Pipedrive's pricing page displays as the Campaigns add-on's starting price. Billed on total subscribed marketing contacts held, not on emails sent.
Campaigns add-on, Premium tier (adds comparative insights and premium campaign-type filters)$0.024per marketing subscriber per month, for the first 1,000 subscribers, billed monthly (Premium feature tier; same graduated bands as the Standard tier, at 1.5x the Standard per-subscriber rate)Plans: Lite, Growth, Premium, Ultimate. For 1,000 subscribers this is $24.00/month. If billed annually the rate is $0.24/subscriber/year, i.e. $20.00/month-equivalent for 1,000 subscribers ($240/year).
Web Visitors add-on, tier 1 (up to 200 identified organizations/month)$49per month, flat, up to 200 identified organizations per month (about $0.25/organization)Plans: Lite, Growth, Premium, Ultimate. $41/month if billed annually - matches the figure Pipedrive shows both on its Web Visitors feature page ('from $41 per month') and as the Web Visitors add-on's starting price on the Spanish pricing page. Available on every plan; not included in LeadBooster.
Web Visitors add-on, tier 2 (201 to 500 identified organizations/month)$99per month, flat, 201 to 500 identified organizations per month (about $0.20/organization)Plans: Lite, Growth, Premium, Ultimate. An annual-billing price for this tier was not published on any page captured.
Web Visitors add-on, tier 3 (501 to 2,000 identified organizations/month)$299per month, flat, 501 to 2,000 identified organizations per month (about $0.15/organization)Plans: Lite, Growth, Premium, Ultimate. An annual-billing price for this tier was not published on any page captured. Above 2,000 organizations, Pipedrive assigns a custom tier that is not publicly listed.

Billing rules worth knowing

  • Billing is strictly per seat: a seat is charged whether or not an active user fills it, and adding a user with no free seat automatically adds (and bills) a new seat.
  • Annual billing discount varies by plan: about 42% on Lite ($24 to $14), 20% on Growth ($49 to $39), 25% on Premium ($79 to $59), and 20% on Ultimate ($99 to $79). Pipedrive's own copy describes this as 'discounted up to 42%.'
  • Annual subscriptions are prepaid for the full year and are not refundable; cancelling one keeps access until the end of the paid term. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled to take effect at the next billing date.
  • LeadBooster, Projects and Smart Docs are paid add-ons only on Lite and Growth; all three are included at no extra cost for every seat on Premium and Ultimate. Campaigns and Web Visitors are paid add-ons on every plan, including Premium and Ultimate.
  • Pipedrive has no native SMS-sending product. The mobile app's 'texting' feature only deep-links to the phone's own messaging app and is not billed by Pipedrive.
  • Pipedrive renamed its plans in 2025: Essential to Lite, Advanced to Growth, Professional (also called Power) to Premium, and Enterprise to Ultimate. Accounts still on a legacy-named plan may have different prices or limits than the current public plans recorded here.
  • www.pipedrive.com/en/pricing returned a Cloudflare bot-block (HTTP 403) to both a headless browser and curl from this network; every figure in this record was instead read from Pipedrive's Spanish-locale pricing page (which served the same US-geolocated USD prices, unblocked) and from Pipedrive's Knowledge Base and feature pages.

How we checked this

Pipedrive: Pipedrive's English pricing page (pipedrive.com/en/pricing) returned a Cloudflare bot-block (HTTP 403) to both a US-locale headless Chromium browser and to curl from this network. Prices and plan/add-on data were instead read from Pipedrive's Spanish-locale pricing page (pipedrive.com/es/pricing), which serves the same US-geolocated USD prices from the same underlying pricing data and was not blocked: captured in a headless browser with both billing toggles clicked, and via curl of that page's embedded __NEXT_DATA__ pricingData JSON (Pipedrive's own machine-readable price list, covering every plan, add-on and top-up). This was supplemented with Pipedrive's public Knowledge Base articles and feature pages (LeadBooster, Web Visitors, Projects, Smart Docs, Campaigns, Nova, billing, seats and plan-comparison articles). All pages saved as snapshots. Last verified . Prices are US list prices in USD; Pipedrive bills in the customer's local currency by billing country: USD for the US and most other countries, AUD for Australia, CAD for Canada, GBP for the UK, and EUR for European countries and Turkey. Pipedrive's own embedded pricing data shows AUD and CAD list prices running higher than the USD/EUR/GBP amount for the same plan (e.g. Lite billed annually: $14 USD/GBP/EUR per seat/month vs $19 AUD/CAD). EU customers are also charged VAT on top of the listed price unless they supply a valid VAT number; Pipedrive states its prices exclusive of VAT. This record reports Pipedrive's US-dollar list price.

Automated re-check on : all 4 prices we re-read were still on Pipedrive's pages.

What we could not verify:
  • Pipedrive has no native SMS-sending product (its mobile app's 'texting' feature only deep-links to the phone's own messaging app and is not billed by Pipedrive), so the SMS lines in the standard solo/small/growing scenarios (200/1,000/5,000 SMS per month) could not be priced and are not included in any scenario's monthly total.
  • Web Visitors add-on: only the entry tier (up to 200 organizations, $49/month paid monthly, $41/month billed annually) and the next two published tiers (201-500 orgs at $99/month; 501-2,000 orgs at $299/month) are public. Annual-billing prices for those higher two tiers, and pricing above 2,000 organizations, are not published on any page Pipedrive makes public; Pipedrive assigns a tier only after a 7-day trial of actual traffic.
  • Smart Docs add-on's two published price bands ($39/month lower band, $59/month higher band) are labeled only by an internal 'units 1-30' / 'units 31-100' range in Pipedrive's own pricing data; no page states what is being counted. This is most likely monthly eSignature requests, since Smart Docs' own free trial is metered in 'five signature requests', but that is inference, not a stated fact.
  • Pipedrive's embedded pricing data lists paid 'Nova' SKUs (nova_v1 through nova_v4, $10-$25 per seat/month, $96-$240 per seat/year), but every page captured about Nova (pipedrive.com/en/nova and its FAQ) states plainly that 'Nova is included in all plans, at no additional cost.' What the paid Nova SKUs are for (e.g. usage beyond a free monthly allotment) is not explained on any page captured, so no Nova add-on price is recorded here.
  • Whether Campaigns' published per-subscriber rate bands are graduated (each band applied only to the subscribers within it, as assumed in the small/growing scenarios) or a single blended rate (the whole subscriber count charged at the rate of the top band reached) is not stated on any page captured; Pipedrive's own copy ('the more contacts you add, the less you pay per subscriber') is consistent with either reading.

We re-check every price against the vendor's page each Monday; changes are logged on the changes page. See a price that's wrong? Tell us and we will correct it the same week.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Pipedrive cost per user?

Pipedrive has four plans, all billed per seat: Lite at $24 a month, Growth at $49, Premium at $79 and Ultimate at $99, each charged whether or not the seat's assigned user is active. Paying annually lowers every plan: Lite drops to $14 a month, Growth to $39, Premium to $59 and Ultimate to $79. Pipedrive's own pricing page describes this discount as 'up to 42%,' though the real size varies by plan: about 42% on Lite, 20% on Growth, 25% on Premium and 20% on Ultimate. None of these prices include email marketing, which Pipedrive sells separately on every plan through its Campaigns add-on, or feature add-ons like LeadBooster and Smart Docs on the two cheaper plans. A solo rep on Lite who also wants basic email marketing typically pays around $40 a month once that add-on is included, not the $24 sticker price alone.

Does Pipedrive have a free plan?

No. Pipedrive has no free-forever plan; the only way to use it without paying is a 14-day free trial, which Pipedrive's pricing page and several feature pages confirm does not require a credit card. The trial gives full access to whichever plan you sign up under, though Prospector lead-reveal credits aren't part of the main trial. Two add-ons run separate, shorter trials of their own: Smart Docs offers its own 14-day add-on trial limited to 5 signature requests, and Web Visitors runs a 7-day trial of real website traffic before Pipedrive assigns it a permanent tier and price. Once any trial ends, the cheapest way to keep using Pipedrive is the Lite plan at $24 a month, or $14 a month on annual billing. There's no reduced-feature free tier to fall back on the way some competing CRMs offer.

What add-ons does Pipedrive charge extra for?

Pipedrive sells five separate add-ons on top of its plan price. LeadBooster (chatbot, live chat, web forms and 10 monthly Prospector lead-reveal credits) costs $39 a company a month. Projects, for task and project management, costs $20 per seat a month. Smart Docs, for proposals and e-signatures, starts at $39 a month. Web Visitors, which identifies anonymous website traffic, starts at $49 a month for up to 200 identified organizations and rises in tiers as traffic grows. Campaigns, Pipedrive's email marketing tool, is priced by the number of marketing subscribers you hold, starting at $0.016 per subscriber a month. LeadBooster, Projects and Smart Docs are included at no extra cost for every seat on the Premium and Ultimate plans; only Campaigns and Web Visitors stay separate add-ons no matter which plan you buy. Most of these add-ons also cost less if billed annually instead of month to month.

Does Pipedrive charge extra for email marketing?

Yes, on every plan, including the top-tier Ultimate. Campaigns, Pipedrive's email marketing tool, isn't bundled into any plan's price; it's billed separately by the number of marketing subscribers you hold, not by how many emails you send. The Standard tier starts at $0.016 per subscriber a month for your first 1,000 subscribers, then steps down as your list grows, so for exactly 1,000 subscribers the add-on costs $16 a month. A Premium feature tier of Campaigns, with comparative insights and extra filters, costs 1.5 times the Standard rate at every band. Because Campaigns meters subscriber count rather than folding into the subscription, a Pipedrive bill grows with your contact list even when your seat count never changes. A 3-person team holding 5,000 marketing subscribers, for example, pays $42 a month for Campaigns on top of its Growth seats, which is one reason the small-team bill runs to $189 rather than the $147 the seats alone would cost.

Is Pipedrive cheaper if you pay annually, and can you switch back?

Yes, every plan costs less per seat billed annually: Lite drops from $24 to $14 a month, Growth from $49 to $39, Premium from $79 to $59, and Ultimate from $99 to $79. Pipedrive's own copy calls this a discount of 'up to 42%,' though the actual size varies by plan. The trade-off is commitment: annual subscriptions are prepaid for the full year and are not refundable, and cancelling one only stops the next renewal, so you keep access through the term you already paid for rather than getting money back. A monthly subscription, by contrast, can be cancelled at any time and simply stops billing at the next monthly date. If you're still deciding which plan or which add-ons fit your team, starting on monthly billing and moving to annual later, once you're sure, avoids locking in a full year on a plan you might outgrow.

Can you get a refund if you cancel Pipedrive?

Not for an annual subscription. Pipedrive's own billing rules state that annual subscriptions are prepaid for the full year and are not refundable; cancelling one keeps your access running until the end of the term you already paid for, rather than returning any money. Monthly subscriptions work differently: cancelling one takes effect at your next billing date, so charges simply stop going forward. Pipedrive's per-seat billing compounds this: since every seat is charged whether or not it is filled, an annual plan locks in a full year of payment for seats a shrinking team no longer needs. If a predictable, easy-to-cancel bill matters more to you than the lower annual price, paying monthly on whichever plan you need is the safer default until you're confident you'll keep the account, and the same headcount, for a full year.

Does Pipedrive support SMS or texting?

No. Pipedrive has no native SMS-sending feature on any plan or add-on, and there's no per-message rate to budget for because there's no SMS product to buy in the first place. The 'texting' option some users find in Pipedrive's mobile app is only a shortcut that opens the phone's own messaging app with a contact's number already filled in; Pipedrive's own knowledge base describes it as a device-level convenience, not a feature it sends or bills for, and the exchange isn't logged back into Pipedrive's CRM records. A team that needs to text customers or leads from inside its CRM, with delivery logged automatically against the contact's record, needs either a separate texting tool connected through one of Pipedrive's app integrations, or a different CRM, such as GoHighLevel, that meters SMS as a built-in, billed feature.

What's the difference between Pipedrive's Lite and Growth plans?

Lite, at $24 a month per seat, has no email sync at all, meaning it can't connect to a mailbox, and no workflow automation of any kind, not even one automated step. Growth, at $49 a month per seat, adds both: one synced email mailbox per seat and up to 50 active automations shared company-wide, each allowing up to 3 if/else branching steps, plus 5 Pulse nurture sequences company-wide. Growth also roughly doubles Lite's per-seat capacity for leads and deals, from 2,500 up to 5,000, and raises the custom-field and reporting limits. Neither plan includes LeadBooster lead capture, Projects task management or Smart Docs e-signatures; on both, those stay separate paid add-ons, unlike on Premium and Ultimate, where all three come included. A solo rep who only logs calls and moves deals through stages by hand can stay on Lite; anyone who wants Pipedrive to send follow-up emails or trigger automations on its own needs Growth at minimum.
